Tour-de-Forest- May 18 - 19, 2024
A rare opportunity to ride your ATV in parts of the Allegheny National Forest. Organized by and benefiting the Marienville Volunteer Fire Department, the Tour-De-Forest is a an ATV leisure-ride through the scenic Allegheny National Forest on designated forest roads and trails that are not usually open to ATV traffic. The Tour De Forest is always scheduled on the third weekend in May and the first weekend in October. For more information, head to their website.

Children 12 years and under are permitted to fish freshly stocked Tom's Run from the Swinging Bridge to the Children's Fishing Pond. Registration and prize give-away will be held at the Children's Fishing Pond behind the Park Office. All prizes donated by area merchants.

Pennsylvania Firefly Festival- June 28 & 29, 2024

The 2024 Pennsylvania Firefly Events include the 12th Annual Pennsylvania Firefly Festival, June 28 & 29, Glow & Know Campouts, June 22 & 25, and the Locals Night, June 27. At all the events, visitors will learn about, and celebrate, the annual mating displays of over fifteen different species of firefly in the Allegheny National Forest area, including the "Synchronous" firefly and the unique "Chinese Lantern" firefly along Tionesta Creek. These events are now available through lottery ticketing, only. The FREE online lottery application will be available starting January 1, 2024 through the PAFFwebsite or Facebook page. The drawing for the 140 pre-registered tickets will take place on March 31. You must be pre-registered to attend. No onsite registration is available. Wolfs Corners is the biggest little fair in northern Clarion County with a rich heritage spanning back over 78 years. The fair is always held over the week of the Fourth of July and showcases many unique activities. The longest running tradition at the fair has been the draft horse pulls held every year since our inception on the Fourth of July. For more information, go to their website.

Marienville July 4th Celebration- July 4, 2024
Softball, volleyball, horseshoes, swimming, bingo, raffles, Chinese Auction, food, parade 4 PM, splash dance 6 - 9 PM, music by TRIXX 7 - 10 PM, fireworks by Rizers Fireworks 10 PM. Activities take place at the MACA Building and Pool from 1- 10 PM.
Allegheny Mountain Championship Rodeo-

Held annually in July, the "Toughest Show on Dirt" PRCA/WRPA Sanctioned event. Professional cowboys and cowgirls competing for points towards National Finals Rodeo. Bareback bronc, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, barrel racing, tie-down roping, bull riding. Live band each evening, concessions, vendors, restaurant & saloon, horseback riding and more! Tionesta Indian Festival- August 16-18,2024
This community festival is held the third week of August and includes events for the whole family. Food, live entertainment, a car & motorcycle show, arts & crafts market, pet parade, costume contest, carnival, fireworks and grand parade. Now in it's 57th year, this annual event draws quite a crowd for it's food and entertainment. Get there early to claim your spot on Elm Street for the grand parade on Saturday!
Art on the Allegheny- 2024 update coming soon!
Sponsored by the Forest Area Arts Council, this annual art show and sale along the Allegheny River features some of the regions best artists. But this is not just another art show! You'll get a chance to see artists working in their mediums, to take free classes and workshops, and to get your hands a little dirty making art. PA State Championship Fishing Tournament- September 24-27th, 2020
A fun packed weekend is planned every year on the last full weekend in September with activities for all ages. While the catch and release fishing contest is the star of the show complete with cash awards and prizes, there is also a kids fishing derby with trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, a parade with judging and trophies, bicycle give a ways, carnival rides, fireworks, lots of food and many raffles. Christmas in the Village- 2024 Update coming soon!
Hosted by the Tionesta Market Village and held annually on the first Saturday in November, this special shopping event takes place in the Market Village, and throughout downtown Tionesta. Featuring live music, food and a visitor from the North Pole! There will be free coffee, free cookies, a free wine tasting and unique gifts. Sponsored by the Marienville Area Civic Association, this takes place at the MACA center in downtown Marienville. It will feature a chili cook-off, bingo, raffles, Chinese auction, vendors and a snowmobile torchlight parade.

Enjoy one of Northwest Pennsylvania’s one-of-a-kind architectural landmarks. The Sherman Memorial Lighthouse, a unique project conceived by Jack Sherman, Tionesta businessman, is available for viewing as a benefit for the Tionesta Lions Club community projects.
